Roll Forming
Roll forming (cold forming) is the area Yılmaz Sac Profil invests in most and aims to grow. With our in-house engineering and tooling/roll-design team, we design any custom open profile to the customer's drawing, prototype it quickly, and take it to series production at a capacity exceeding 2,500 tons per month. C, U, Z, sigma, omega and fully custom sections — from galvanized, ZM and black steel input, delivered assembly-ready with holes, cut-outs and shape details applied on the line.
We are not a standard profile supplier but a solution partner that unites tooling design, engineering consultancy and volume production under one roof. From solar mounting systems to construction and automotive, we manage your project-specific profile from concept to delivery.
What We Offer
Tooling & Roll Design
We design tooling and rolls in-house, bringing new section geometries online quickly.
Engineering & Consulting
We provide engineering support on profile optimisation, material and coating selection, and structural suitability.
Rapid Prototyping
We produce a sample profile to the customer's drawing in short lead times and submit it for approval.
High-Tonnage Series Production
We meet high-volume orders with a roll-form capacity exceeding 2,500 tons per month.
Custom Sections
C, U, Z, sigma, omega and fully project-specific open-profile sections.
In-Line Processing
Holes, cut-outs and shape details are applied on the line; the profile leaves assembly-ready.

Section families
Pick a section to see where it is used and what it gives you.
- Used for
- Solar piles, racking uprights, roof and facade purlins
- What it gives
- The lipped section gives high bending stiffness for its weight; the open face simplifies bracket connections.

Export and logistics
Profiles are packed by section and length, strapped with steel banding and loaded into containers or trucks; we prepare the loading plan around the profile length. We ship from Kayseri to Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Shipping documents, certificates of origin and material certificates (EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates) are provided on request. Delivery terms (EXW, FOB, CIF) and the lead time are fixed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order for roll forming?
There is no hard minimum on catalogue sections. A new section needs its own roll set, so a meaningful footage is required — share your annual footage and we will work out where the tooling pays for itself.
What tolerances can you hold?
Roll forming's strength is repeatability — thousands of metres through the same tooling come out identical. Mark the critical dimensions on the drawing and the quotation states the tolerance we commit to on each; tight tolerances everywhere only add cost.
How long from tooling to first article?
Because we design and make the rolls in-house it is markedly shorter than for producers who outsource tooling. The exact time depends on section complexity and is given as a date in the quotation; repeat orders carry no tooling time.
Zn-Al-Mg or hot-dip galvanized?
For long outdoor life we recommend forming from Zn-Al-Mg coated coil: it self-heals at sheared and punched edges and needs no post-galvanizing bath. Where the specification calls for hot-dip galvanizing we supply that too.
Do you produce to our own drawing (OEM)?
Yes. A DXF or PDF section drawing, the material and an estimated footage are enough. We reply with a manufacturability review and, where useful, section changes that lower cost; after approval comes the first article, then series production.
Do you export?
Yes — from Kayseri to Europe, the Middle East and North America. We handle packing, the loading plan and shipping documents; material certificates are supplied on request.
