Frequently Asked Questions

The questions buyers ask most, answered plainly.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

For subcontract cutting and bending there is no hard minimum — we handle one-off parts too. Custom roll-formed profiles need tooling, so a meaningful footage is required. Send us your dimensions and quantity and we will tell you plainly whether it fits.

What is the maximum sheet thickness you can cut?

Our 20 kW fiber laser cuts carbon steel up to 30 mm; stainless and aluminium limits vary by material. Thicker material moves to our plasma and oxy-fuel lines. At 20 kW we handle both thicker plate and noticeably faster cutting than the 4-6 kW machines common in the region.

What is the difference between roll forming and press braking?

A press brake bends cut blanks one stroke at a time and needs no dedicated tooling, which suits low volumes and evolving designs. Roll forming passes coil through roller stations to build the section progressively; it needs tooling for each section, but cost per metre drops sharply and long profiles come out far more consistent. Roughly: press braking up to a few hundred metres, roll forming into the thousands.

Can I get a price without sending a drawing?

For standard products — sheet, box section, tube, structural steel — dimensions and quantity are enough. For processed parts we need a drawing, because price depends on cut length, hole count and number of bends. DXF, PDF or a clear photo works; you can also upload it to the AI assistant on this site for a first assessment.

Which materials do you process?

Black (HRP), cold-rolled (DKP), pickled, chequered, galvanized and Zn-Al-Mg coated sheet; S235-S355 structural steel; stainless 304 and 316; Hardox wear plate; plus aluminium, copper and brass. For solar mounting we mainly run S350GD and S420GD galvanized and ZM coil.

What are your lead times?

Standard stock items usually ship within a few days. Subcontract cutting and bending depends on workload and part complexity. Custom roll-formed profiles carry a one-time tooling lead time on the first order, which disappears on repeats. We commit to a firm date at the quotation stage.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship from our plant in Kayseri to international projects, with export work particularly in solar mounting systems and roll-formed profiles. We organise freight, packing and the required documentation.

How do I calculate sheet metal weight?

For sheet, multiply thickness in mm by 7.85 to get kg/m² — a 3 mm sheet is 23.55 kg/m². For profiles and tubes, multiply the cross-sectional area in mm² by 0.00785 to get kg/m. Our weight calculator on this site works all of this out instantly.
